Artificial Intelligence

Over the past 70 years Artificial Intelligence or AI has changed tremendously from the inside out. Before they used large complex machines to do tasks on a smaller scale. Over the years the machine or robot grew smaller and smaller but could do more and more complex tasks. Through the videos I watched, I learned a lot. I learned that the world has plans to use robots in a more effective way than we used them before.  In the first video it made me particular to what was really going on. The video covered a wide range of topics from beginning to the end. I like how the rhythm went through. Things were nicely explained and well thought out. This passage talked about the very important trucking industry. Such a great and monumental topic often taken for granted. This is very important to the human community for simple existence. It begins talking about the industry having almost 900,000 jobs open to fill the needs of the ever so growing population. AI is evolving and changing in the world in this industry because of the self driving cabs. Major trucker delivering companies are even trying to switch over to cab-less diesel trucks. When getting into the next video it transitions into how AI plays a role in the hotel industry. AI has not made it way all around the word in the hotel industry. Though, in Japan it is used relatively everywhere. Though the robots were present, regular users of the hotel say it gets old after a while and still miss out on the key details of customers’ questions and concerns. They predict AI in hotels world wide anytime from now thru 2025. Farming a really big industry for humans. With the ever so growing human population, Farming at a high rate is vital. This means producing more products in a shorter time. Before the AI truck can ship out, it needs some time to ship and that starts with farming. I found that video very interesting, AI can be used in the way they harvest, clean, and supply crops and even live stock. One interesting way there using AI for is to shoot pesticide at a safer, more accurate, and less waste type of way. AI helps keep livestock healthy for later human consumption also. In 2030, I feel the world will be even more detailed and precise for everyday human use. These machines will be borderline amazing. THis machines could prevent humans from working hazard jobs. This idea of course had a bad and a good side. If you can get a robot to do the same job but work for free rather than a human who’s unpredictable and can, what is the company gonna choose? So I feel AI has a great but detrimental effect on the world. These by many people will be used for the betterment of the countries but also will bring down many corporations because of it’s cheap needs to flourish with never tired or parched robots.
